Terms and conditions of use

The “Terminali Italia website” (hereinafter, for the sake of brevity, the Website) serves the purpose of providing its visitors (whether they are companies or individual users) with information and services on the activities and commercial offers of the company, Terminali Italia, particularly in terms of information on its corporate structure, the activities performed and the investments for the development of projects of interest to the community and the railway sector.

The user acknowledges that its use is conditional upon accepting the terms and conditions set out herein.

Intellectual property

All rights to the contents (by way of example only: texts, images, distinctive signs, audio and video files and architecture of the Website) are reserved to Terminali Italia or to their respective owners, pursuant to the current copyright legislation, referred to in Law 633 of 22 April 1941.

The contents of the Website may not, in full or in part, be reproduced, transferred, uploaded, published or distributed in any way without Terminali Italia Srl’s express prior consent.

This is without prejudice to the exercising of the reproduction and quotation rights provided for in the aforementioned copyright legislation. However, users are permitted to print and save onto their individual media parts or extracts of the Website, provided this is intended for purely personal and not commercial use.

“Terminali Italia Srl” is a registered trademark. The trademarks, whether company or product trademarks, logos and distinctive signs that appear on the Website are the property of Terminali Italia Srl or of the other companies of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, pursuant to current Industrial Property laws, as provided for in Legislative Decree 30 of 10 February 2005 (Industrial Property Code).

Any other trademarks and distinctive signs reproduced on the pages of the Website belong to their respective owners. The reproduction and use, in any manner, form or context, of Terminali Italia Srl’s trademarks, logos and distinctive signs as well as those of the other FS Italiane Group companies is expressly prohibited.

Terminali Italia Srl informs users that the reproduction and, more generally, the unauthorised use of trademarks and distinctive signs, in addition to being a civil offence, may sometimes constitute a criminal offence. The name Terminali Italia Srl, in any way associated with the trademark and the name of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A., may not be used, in part or in full, as internet domain names of other websites, or as part of these domain names.

Trademarks, distinctive signs and, more generally, terms that can be traced back to the latter may not even be contained within the html codes of the pages of other sites: their use as metadata (meta-tags, keyword-tags, etc.) by third parties of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group is in fact prohibited.

Any link to the Website must not harm the image and activities of the FS Italiane Group.

Limitation of responsibility

Terminali Italia Srl takes the utmost care and diligence in managing the Website and checking and updating its contents. However, the texts, information and other data published or accessible via specific forms are for information purposes only and are not official, unless otherwise indicated or provided for in accordance with current legislation. They are provided "as is" and depend on availability.

Therefore, also in consideration of the fact that the services are provided free of charge, Terminali Italia Srl does not provide any guarantee, and hereby disclaims any and all direct or indirect liability for any inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or damages in any way deriving from the above-mentioned contents.

The Website may provide links to other websites or to other resources available on the internet. However, Terminali Italia Srl does not have any control over the contents of these websites or resources and, therefore, does not assume any liability for the contents, services, information, including advertising information, or anything else offered by these websites or external resources.

Despite taking all due care, Terminali Italia Srl cannot guarantee that using the Website may, even due to the harmful action of third parties, lead to the transmission of viruses or other types of contamination and, therefore, declines all responsibility in this respect.

Applicable Law and Competent Court

The application of these Terms and Conditions of Use is governed by Italian law.

The Court of Rome has exclusive jurisdiction over disputes involving these Terms and Conditions of Use (including those relating to the application, interpretation and effectiveness of the same).
